Nathan Luna Fire 250 RX Review
Problem: Running outside when it's dark out can cause problems if you are unable to see where you are running. You also need to make sure you can be seen during your run too. Having a light that you can wear or attach to something while you run can really help.

Review: - Is this lightweight to wear or have attached to something, where I wouldn't notice it during a run?
- It's very light weight. When I was running I wasn't able to feel extra weight from it bothering me during my run.
- Does it cast enough light where I will be able to see where I'm going?
- I always ran with it at 250 Lumens to make sure I had as much light as possible lighting up my way. I didn't feel as the lower settings gave me as much light as I wanted.
- How well does it clip on to something, like my hat, jacket or waistband of my pants?
- The clip does a great job of clipping on to the waistband of pants or shorts. I tried to clip it to my jacket, but found I wasn't able to really keep the light shining in the direction I needed it.
- Does the strap make it easier to carry it during a run?
- The strap helps, if you have it at waist level. I tried having the strap higher up on my chest and felt the light was bouncing too much, making it difficult to run. I would be trying to focus my eyes forward, but would get distracted by the light bouncing.
- Does it use batteries or can it be recharged?
- IT'S RECHARGEABLE! This is one of the best features ever! I have an older head lamp from Nathan Sports, but it uses batteries. With the Luna Fire 250 RX, I love having it charge over night and it's ready for me when I need it for my run. Much easier instead of starting my run and finding out the batteries are dead.
- How difficult is it to switch between the brightness levels?
- It's really easy to make the light brighter or dimmer. The same button that is used to turn on and off is the same button to toggle through the different brightness levels.
Lighting up the darkness before an early morning run
- The light is bright enough to light up the darkness when I use it. I'm able to see where I'm going. I used the light during a run and to help light things up when I was doing some outside chores. The best position I found is to have it clipped to the waistband of my pants or shorts. I love how easy it is to plug it in to the charger and have it charge instead of dealing with changing batteries. This will be the second light I use when I go for a run. I'll still have my head lamp to help light up the way. With having the head lamp and this light at my waist, I can see where I'm going and people can see me when I'm out on my run.
