Sunglasses are a must have item for me. Whenever I'm outside and the sun is out, even if it's not really bright, I have sunglasses on. I wear them so often, I start out each year with two pair because they fall apart or get broken. I'm not exceptionally hard on my sunglasses. I do take care of them. I just take them on and off a lot, and wear them during a lot of activities.

One of my main activities I wear sunglasses for is running. I love having sunglasses on when running. Having them on makes it easier for me to be aware of my surroundings and not have to squint my eyes or not be able to see everything around me.

I always make sure my sunglasses have polarized lenses. If I'm wearing sunglasses, why would I want to allow for glare? I want to see things clearly.

Enter Shady Rays

I learned about Shady Rays through the BibRave Pro ambassador program. I love wearing sunglasses and wanted to see if these sunglasses would be a great fit for running and my every day use. After looking into Shady Rays more, it looked like this was a possibility. There are many sunglasses to select from on shadyrays.com. Each pair comes with the premium polarized lenses, free lost or broken replacements warranty, and 11 meals to fight hunger. Prices of the Shady Rays sunglasses start out at $45.

On to the product!

I picked out the Infrared Ice Polarized glasses. I like the red-set mirror lenses and the 100% UV protection Each pair of Shady Rays will come with the sunglasses, a nice drawstring case to carry them in, a nice Shady Rays sticker, a card explaining the warranty, and a card letting you know how to be featured on the Shady Rays official brand channels.

My review

These glasses are a bit heavy when you have them in your hand, but they don't feel heavy when you are wearing them. I found they do a great job of keeping the glare out of my eyes, without making it look really dark when looking through them.

The first test was to see how well these did while working outside. I wore my Shady Rays while cutting the lawn and moving some tree branches to the back of my yard. The glasses stayed in place the entire time. Bending over and picking up branches, and they didn't slip down or fall off my face.

Because I'm a runner, and really like wearing sunglasses while running, I had to see how well Shady Rays worked while on a run. I was surprised they stayed in place and didn't fog up from sweat. On really warm and humid mornings, or on the cool mornings, the Shady Rays came through and worked out great!

Comments from people who had a chance to see my Shady Rays were really positive. "Look like they are prescription quality sunglasses." "High quality. I can tell they are made really well."

Verdict

These sunglasses are AWESOME! They do a really good job of helping protect my eyes from the sun, cut down on glare and I can look great while wearing them. I've been wearing them anytime the sun is out to help protect my eyes. With the wonderful warranty that comes with each pair, I can't see myself having to go to the store to get another pair knowing these will fall apart.
